You know that saying, "the days are long but the years are short"?,  well it's true.

One moment you're in the depths of sleepless nights & nappy changes - a blur of newborn bliss & pure exhaustion.

Then suddenly you're out the other side trying to piece together where those precious moments went.

There will be more though, of course.

There are the firsts - first smile, first giggle, first steps, first day of school... but they go by just as quickly.

In our messy, chaotic, time-poor lives we can often miss the point.
